Recap: Chinese Lantern Festival14 Feb 2017
On Saturday the Chinese Lantern Festival marked the final day of traditional New Year Celebrations for the Year of the Rooster which celebrated the first full moon for the Lunar Year.
From 10am, everyone enjoyed over 100 Asian inspired market stalls with Chinese New year souvenirs, unique & authentic cuisines that tantalised your tastebuds.
There was no shortage of cultural activities and performances at the Main stage that delighted the audience.
Did your little one enjoy their time in the Lantern & Junior Lion Dancing workshops? Hopefully they were able to take home their very own Chinese Mask painting!
It would not be Chinese New Year without finishing the festival off with a bang! To close out the celebrations the Chinese Dragon Dancers returned alongside the exhilarating Fire Cracker Show.
